Challenges & Evaluations
We offer four account types: Instant Funding (skip the evaluation entirely), 1-Step Challenge (single phase, 8% profit target), 2-Step Challenge (two phases: 8% then 5%), and 3-Step Challenge (three phases with lower targets). Account sizes range from $5K to $200K.
$5K Instant Funded and all Challenge accounts have a . Fully simulated trading portfolios above $5K have no expiration.
If you breach a drawdown limit during your challenge, your account will be closed. You can purchase a new challenge at any time to try again. Note that the challenge fee is not refunded for failed attempts — it is only refunded upon your first successful reward distribution as a funded participant.
1-Step: 8% profit target in a single phase. 2-Step: Phase 1 — 8% profit target; Phase 2 — 5% profit target. 3-Step: Three phases with progressively lower targets. Instant Funding: No targets — you trade funded from Day 1. All phases have a 3% daily loss limit and 6% maximum trailing drawdown.
Yes — you can open a free demo account on MT5, or to practise your strategy before committing to a paid challenge. We strongly recommend using demo accounts to test your approach under challenge conditions before going live.

Yes. There is no restriction on the number of simulated trading portfolios you can hold. Many of our participants manage multiple accounts across different strategies and account sizes. Combined account exposure limits may apply — contact support for details.
All simulated trading portfolios receive an 90% performance reward as standard.
reward distributions
reward distributions are processed within 24 hours of your withdrawal request on business days. We pride ourselves on being one of the fastest-paying prop firms in the industry. You will receive a confirmation email once your reward distribution has been processed.
We support multiple withdrawal methods including bank transfer, cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT and others), and additional payment processors. Available methods may vary by country. The full list of available methods is shown in your participant dashboard at the time of withdrawal.
Yes. Your challenge fee is fully refunded as part of your first performance reward withdrawal as a funded participant. This means your evaluation is effectively free once you are in the program and earning performance rewards. The refund is applied automatically — you do not need to request it separately.
Yes, a minimum withdrawal amount applies depending on the payment method chosen. Exact minimums are displayed in your participant dashboard. For most methods, the minimum is $100 or equivalent. There is no restriction on how often you can request a reward distribution.
Trading Rules
All accounts have a 3% daily loss limit (maximum loss in a single trading day calculated from the start-of-day balance) and an 6% maximum trailing drawdown. The trailing drawdown follows your highest recorded balance upward but never moves back down. For example, on a $5,000 account the initial drawdown floor is $4,700 (6% below $5K). If your balance rises to $5,300, the floor trails up to $4,982 — and locks permanently once it reaches the initial balance of $5,000. After that it functions as a static drawdown. Breaching either limit will result in the account being closed.
News trading is restricted on all Polar simulated trading portfolios. You may not open new positions or close existing positions within 5 minutes before or after major economic releases (NFP, CPI, FOMC, and other high-impact events flagged on our economic calendar). Positions held through the window that were opened more than 2 minutes prior are not affected. Violating the news-trading restriction results in a profit clawback — any profits from the violating trades are removed from your account balance. This restriction applies to funded accounts only; news trading is permitted during the evaluation phase.
Yes. You are free to hold positions over the weekend on all account types. There are no mandatory Friday close requirements. Please note that gap risk over the weekend is your responsibility as part of your risk management practice.
Yes. Expert Advisors, automated trading scripts, and algorithmic strategies are fully permitted across all platforms. You may run your own custom EAs or third-party robots. Strategies must comply with our general trading rules — latency arbitrage and tick scalping that exploits platform data delays are prohibited.
Yes. Hedging within a single account is permitted. You may open opposing positions on the same instrument without restriction. Cross-account hedging (opening opposite positions across multiple Polar simulated trading portfolios to exploit arbitrage) is not permitted and may result in account termination.
